Swiss Ball
Tuesday, 8th September 2026
Using the Swiss Ball adds another dimension to your wellbeing practice and is great for core strength and balance. It’s also lots of fun!
A typical class will include using the Swiss Ball as an additional yoga ‘prop’ to provide a mix of support and challenge to some of the traditional yoga poses. In addition, we’ll use the Swiss Ball to learn some new ‘moves’ and exercises which will complement your yoga asana practice - adding core and muscle strength, balance and mobility. With a different session plan each week, you will soon notice the improvement in both your capability using the Swiss Ball and in your strength and techniques.
You’ll need to bring your own (inflated) Swiss Ball and yoga mat. It’s also helpful to wear trainers, especially for your first few sessions. The sessions are suitable for those with general fitness and mobility (perhaps start with the Hatha Yoga classes if you are new or returning to exercise). Guidance is provided, so beginners with the Swiss Ball are welcome and options for progression or adjustments are provided.
